Healthy You, a division of Continental SEL, LLC., is a distributor of Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, and Massage Therapy supplies and equipment.
In 1952, Dr. Roy Childers founded Healthy You in Wisconsin under the name, Standard Distributors. His experience and expertise in both chiropractic and physical therapy led him to begin supplying equipment and medical supplies for practitioners in those fields.
Dr. Childers moved to Florida and re-opened the company. In 1985, his eldest daughter, Valerie, married Scott Strickland. One year later, Scott left his job as a Health Physics Technician and moved home to Ocala, Florida to join the team at Healthy You.
We incorporated as Continental SEL, LLC. in 1989 and then 17 years later began doing business as we are known today, as Healthy You.
After Roy’s retirement in 1990, Scott Strickland became President/Owner of the company. Through the years, Scott has consistently pushed Healthy You to grow and innovate the company. He has increased the products we offer from just a handful in the early years to the thousands we offer today, as well as ensuring our signature Peanut M&M’s are shipped with every order for your chewing pleasure.
In 2010, Scott’s son, Tyler Strickland, joined the team after he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Central Florida. Tyler not only helped keep the family tradition going, he has kept it thriving by expanding our ecommerce and making online-ordering more user friendly for all of our customers.
As a family owned and operated company, Healthy You goes to great lengths to ensure excellent customer service. Our courteous and knowledgeable sales staff is available from 8:30AM - 5:30PM (Eastern) to answer any questions or handle any concerns you may have.
